Terms of Service

Last updated: 23 June 2026

These terms govern your use of Vault X Email ("Vault X", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Vault X provides hosted email — mailboxes, sending and receiving, webmail, and IMAP/SMTP access — on a vaultx.co.uk address or your own domain, on the plan you select. Features vary by plan as described on our pricing page.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18, or have authority to act for the business you represent.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Vault X to send spam or bulk unsolicited mail, distribute malware, infringe others' rights, or carry out unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules or threaten the stability or reputation of our network.

4. Plans, billing & renewals

5. Refunds

New subscriptions include a 14-day money-back guarantee. One-off fees (e.g. migration, domain setup) are non-refundable once the work has been carried out.

6. Non-payment & suspension

If a payment fails we'll email you and retry. If it remains unpaid we may suspend access after 7 days, and may delete data on accounts that remain unpaid for an extended period after notice.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from your account; service continues until the end of your current billing period. You're responsible for exporting or migrating your data before your mailbox is closed.

8. Availability

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and are not liable for factors outside our reasonable control.

9. Privacy

We do not read, scan, sell or profile your email. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost data you have not backed up.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; we'll post the new version here and, for material changes, notify you by email.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales.
