Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 June 2026

This policy explains what personal data Vault X Email ("Vault X", "we") collects, why, and your rights under UK data-protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

The short version: we never read, scan, sell, or build advertising profiles from your email. We process your data only to provide the service you pay for.

1. Who we are

Vault X is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are based in, and host all data within, the United Kingdom. Contact our team at support@vaultx.co.uk.

2. What we collect

3. How we use your data

We process data to operate your mailbox, take payment, provide support, keep the service secure, and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running a secure service, and legal obligation where applicable.

4. What we never do

We do not scan or read the content of your email for advertising, do not sell or rent your data, and do not use your mail to train advertising or AI profiling systems.

5. Storage & security

Your data is stored on UK-based servers, protected by encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

6. Sharing

We share data only with trusted processors who help us run the service (for example, a payment provider and infrastructure host), under contract and only as needed. We do not share your data with advertisers. We may disclose data where required by law.

7. International transfers

Your data is held in the UK and is not transferred outside the UK in the normal course of providing the service.

8. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. After cancellation we delete mailbox data following a short grace period, and retain billing records only as long as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email support@vaultx.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

10. Cookies

Our website and webmail use only essential cookies needed to sign you in and keep the service working. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

11. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

12. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the latest version here, noting the date above.
